I really enjoy the psychological push and pull between characters and will read long, long scenes of the characters trying to get into each other's heads or one trying to do it while the other's trying to do something else with the conversation. Interrogations can be fun, too. If it's easier, go ahead and put the characters into some sort of bottle setting. I'm fine with that.
That said, I love world building and plotty stuff, too, if that's your jam. I also really like characters being competent or creatively clever.
Captivity and time travel of various sorts tend to be near to bulletproof tropes for me, so either of those, even if I didn't list them in the freeforms, are pretty much always going to work for me.
I have no objection to OCs, especially if they're filling in a role that doesn't make sense for any canonical character or are giving an outside perspective on events and/or characters.
I like characters in shades of gray. That's harder to do with some of what I've requested, but I'd still rather not have anyone entirely right and anyone entirely wrong. Or anyone entirely good or entirely evil. I like characters who're friends/allies and characters who're out and out enemies or just opposed to each other for some reason. Under some circumstances, I have a very slight preference for the latter because I'm interested in how changed circumstances can make allies out of people who would otherwise hurt each other. Or who wouldn't have ever met at all.
I'm not big on graphic violence or gore. That is, I don't need a blow by blow of a beating or loving descriptions of mutilation or whatever, and I'd really prefer no permanent damage. A brief references/summary of whatever happened, if torture and/or physical punishment makes sense for the scenario, will generally be okay. I want to know how the characters react and how they try to play each other because that's the part that interests me.
In most cases (I'll specify when not), I'm okay with sex, including noncon or dubcon. I tend to define noncon very broadly and dubcon very narrowly, but since I'm good with both, I don't think that my particular line is important.
My general assumption in most canons is that, for fic writing purposes, almost all characters are bi or pansexual (not keen on changing the status of those who have stated that they're gay or asexual, however. Not that that's a thing in any of these canons, but...) unless I have a strong reason to decide otherwise for a specific story.
I'm okay with canon pairings and most types of non-canonical pairings, het, m/m, f/f, poly, whatever, including established relationships. Gen is completely good for me, too. Any rating is fine, too.
I'm okay with crossovers, but there are a lot of widely known fandoms that I know nothing at all about, so maybe only crossovers within my set of requested fandoms? I don't like fusions at all. I adore canon divergent stories, including ones where the divergence happened in the backstory. For most of these combinations of fandoms and freeforms, I'm assuming either that these things happen post-canon or as part of a canon divergence of some sort.
I don't deal well at all with certain types of abuse of authority-- I can't reread or rewatch Order of the Phoenix because Dolores Umbridge upsets me too much. She's too real world for me to want to spend time with her.
Also, I really don't mind seeing characters older-- even much older-- than in canon. Some of my requested characters are teens, but I'm well past being very interested in teenagers being teenagers just because they're supposed to have general appeal, if that makes sense. I'm interested in stories about them being people as opposed to them being teenagers.

This fandom has some great female characters, and I’d love to see any of them getting the spotlight. I’m always curious about how characters deal with adversity. I’d be pleased with either the canonical timeline, one of the time travel AUs, or the Second Dimension versions of the characters. In terms of the Second Dimension, I’m particularly curious about Vanessa and Charlene, given events in the Second Dimension episode during the final season.
This is the sort of canon where absolutely anything at all can happen, so I feel that a lot of really weird, dark things could happen without requiring past canon to change. I’m open to other characters appearing in the story as long as they don’t take over. I’m also open to whatever terrible things have happened having gotten them killed or captured or turned evil or whatever works for the story.
I’d prefer no explicit sex in this fandom.

The Pretender was the first fandom that I fell into headlong, the first one where I read fic. I’m kind of anything goes with most of the freeforms here except that I don’t want anything sexual happening with Debbie while she’s a child and I don’t want anything permanently coming between her and her father or making him mistreat her.
I’m agnostic on the subject of Jarod/Miss Parker. I can see it, but I’m also entirely happy with them not being romantically or sexually involved. One way of going dark here would definitely be in having one of them deliberately and repeatedly harm the other.
I tend to feel that the Centre story arc started to sag and crack under its own weight after Thomas was killed. I don't mind seeing elements from later on, even the ones that completely contradict earlier canon.
Some of these freeforms would effectively blow canon apart, by making other things more urgent/important, and I'm fine with that happening at any point (even before Jarod escapes). Other freeforms either fit canon entirely or could be logical but dark directions for post-canon or for canon divergence.
I'd be interested in seeing other characters from canon show up, too. If you use someone who was only in an episode or two, please reference the episode(s) in your notes so that I can orient myself.

I rather like the frantic pace of canon in as much as it serves the comedy, but it masks a lot of potentially dark things under the surface and a lot of things made into jokes that are pretty creepy. I’d love to see the characters developed beyond jokes/schtick. That said, I nominated this character set because they were the ones I thought would be most amusing and/or interesting while everything went to hell around them. The only recurring character I’d rather not deal with is Happosai, so feel free to use the others.

This is another fluffy canon where I’m interested in seeing how the characters might deal with really bad things happening. I’m open to other characters from canon, but these are the ones who I thought might react in interesting ways or who didn’t get much exploration in canon. I’d be interested in canon divergent AUs or post canon stories more than anything wedged in during canon. If there’s going to be sex, please age up the teen characters. I’d also strongly prefer not to have Mr Boy paired with anybody who was his student because that squicks me 99% of the time.
It might be interesting to see Mr Boy and/or Magenta doing amazing things-- for good or evil-- in spite of not having hero level powers by Sky High’s definition. When I rewatch the movie, I take Mr Boy and the whole sidekick program as evidence that the whole thing is a dystopia masquerading as something else.
I don’t ship anything in this fandom, so pairings of any sort are optional and as mix and match as you want. If you want to pair Josie with someone, though, please don’t bash her husband (whose name I'm blanking on). He’s kind of an idiot, but they seem quite happy in canon. Fridging him is fine. Having him mind controlled into being a villain or some such would be okay too.
I'm happy with other characters from canon showing up as long as the focus is on one the nominated characters.

I'm mostly interested in divergent AUs here, but some of the tags could work as events between the movies. I don't mind other characters in the least, and they can have the same roles as in canon or something different based on the divergence. Please, no incest. This is one case in which I would be okay with requested character death but only if it's Vader.
I'll be equally interested if the various characters know how they're related or if they don't. Redemption for Vader is fine as is Luke or Leia (or anyone else) going dark. I'm also good with some sort of unexpected external thing upending everything to make the struggle between the Empire and the Rebellion irrelevant.
I don't know the EU much at all. I've watched a season and a half of Rebels, so I'm okay with those characters turning up if it fits. I've seen part of Clone Wars, too. I'm not fussed about spoilers, so please don't worry that you'll spoil me. I've seen all of the movies to date.

I am most familiar with the Kapital era (entered the fandom before Gluhen came out), but I know Gluhen. I have not read Side B and only know a small amount about it from reading people’s comments on it; anything pulled from there will need a good bit of explanation so that I know where/how it fits in. I tend to ignore most of the drama CDs but have no objections to a writer choosing to pull in parts of those as canon. I have written this fandom a lot but am by no means wedded to any particular interpretation of the characters. My caveat is that I’d rather not see anyone bashed or woobified.
I don’t mind sex here, and this is the one fandom where I’m more or less open to underage sex. I’m not interested in Crawford/Nagi because it squicks me, and I’d rather not see Nagi victimized while he’s still a teenager (Gluhen era Nagi is different in that respect).
I’m good with any of the other characters turning up, including people surviving who didn’t in canon.

I don’t object to sex here, consensual or not, but I’m a lot more interested in the psychological reactions and would prefer plot, characterization, and worldbuilding over sex. In the case of noncon, I’m fine with either side as the POV as long as I get both sides trying to influence each other, trying to find ways to control what’s going on. So some talking, please, rather than just parts connecting. Humiliation is decidedly not my kink.

I am most familiar with the Kapital era (entered the fandom before Gluhen came out), but I know Gluhen. I have not read Side B and only know a small amount about it from reading people’s comments on it; anything pulled from there will need a good bit of explanation so that I know where/how it fits in. I tend to ignore most of the drama CDs but have no objections to a writer choosing to pull in parts of those as canon. I have written this fandom a lot but am by no means wedded to any particular interpretation of the characters. My caveat is that I’d rather not see anyone bashed or woobified.
I don’t mind sex here, and this is the one fandom where I’m more or less open to underage sex. I’m not interested in Crawford/Nagi because it squicks me, and I’d rather not see Nagi victimized while he’s still a teenager (Gluhen era Nagi is different in that respect).
I’m good with any of the other characters turning up, including people surviving who didn’t in canon.

For the adversarial pairings, I could go with either exploration of that or with them needing to work together (temporarily or not) to deal with something else horrible happening.
I don’t object to sex here, consensual or not, but I’m a lot more interested in the psychological reactions and would prefer plot, characterization, and worldbuilding over sex. In the case of noncon, I’m fine with either side as the POV as long as I get both sides trying to influence each other, trying to find ways to control what’s going on. So some talking, please, rather than just parts connecting. Humiliation is decidedly not my kink.
